A clinical trial exploring treatment for the COVID-19 virus is taking place at Albany House. To be eligible you must have the symptoms of a continuous cough and/or a high temperature and have had it for 14 days or less. You must also meet the following criteria:
- Age 65 or over
or
- Age 50 or over with the following health conditions: Heart disease, Hypertension, Diabetes (NOT on Insulin), Lung Disease such as Asthma/COPD, Weakened immune system due to serious illness or medication, Stroke or Neurological problems, mild Liver Disease.
